Today would have been your 89th,
A day I still hold close.
Though time moves ever forward,
Your love lingers the most.
This photo from so long ago,
Taken when you were 53,
One of the rare few we captured,
Yet it means the world to me.
Boi was behind the lens,
A moment framed in light,
A fleeting glimpse of yesterday,
Still shining clear and bright.
We hardly stood for pictures,
Yet this one tells a tale,
Of love that never fades away,
Through memory’s gentle veil.
Happy Birthday, Mummy dear,
Though years may come and go,
You live within my heart each day,
