To All the Dads — A Father’s Day Poem
To the dads who held us when we cried,
Who stood with strength, yet softened inside.
To grandpas wise, with stories told,
And foster hearts with love pure gold.
To poppies, papas and fur dads too,
Who give their all the whole way through.
Whether near or far away,
Your love still shines this Father's Day.
Some walk with us, still hand in hand,
Some watch us now from distant lands.
But in our hearts, you’ve never gone —
Your voice, your laugh, it lingers on.
In every lesson, every care,
Your presence echoes everywhere.
So here’s to you — with love, with cheer,
For all you were, and all you’re near.
Happy Father’s Day — to all who guide,
With open arms and hearts held wide.
Today, we celebrate all the fathers — those we can hug, call or sit with… and those we carry in our hearts.
To the dads, grandads, grandpas, poppies, foster dads, godfathers, father figures and fur dads — thank you for the love, the lessons, the laughs and the quiet strength.
For those no longer with us, your presence is still felt in the stories we tell, the values you passed down and the memories that make us smile through the tears. You may be gone, but never forgotten.
For those still walking beside us — thank you for showing up in ways that matter, even in the little things. Your presence is a gift.
To the dads of fur-babies — your care and devotion deserve a cheer too. Being a protector, provider and snuggle buddy counts!
Today’s for you. For who you are, who you were and all the ways you’ve shaped the lives around you.
Happy Father’s Day. With love, always.
