The Unfunny Circus Act

The satirical poem titled "The Capitol Circus" portrays a chaotic political landscape by humorously likening prominent figures — to circus performers. It highlights their actions and the resulting disorder in the political arena.

The Capitol Circus

In Capitol town where the circus won’t end,
The clowns write laws and logic must bend.
Donald Duck squawks with a MAGA parade,
While Musk Melon tweets from a Mars escapade.

Jelly Vance juggles some truth and a lie,
Winking at chaos as facts wave goodbye.
They dance on the stage with egos so wide,
While reason and sanity run off to hide.

The tent’s on fire, the crowd just cheers,
Popcorn tossed with manufactured fears.
And all the while, the ringmaster snoozes —
Democracy limps while the nation loses.
