Took him home and bottled fed him Dutch Lady's full cream milk... he used to chase after his milk bottle till he wean himself off the milk... thats when he disliked the bottle with a passion... mum named him Whiskie...
He was very healthy and has a bad temper... was able to win his fights with the neighbourhood cats who strayed into our house compound and he even beat up dogs... :-s
Always picky with his food... only ocean feast will do and also home cooked fish... not too wet nor too dry...
Also very clean and particular with his fur and surroundings... he looked like he's wearing a tuxedo... doesn't like the wet...
Possessed distinctive meows that may mean "?", "!"... very timely and would raise his meowing volume as the time gets closer to his feeding time... he answers me when I speak to him... mum always amazed that he would 'talk' with me... coz he never does with the rest of the family...
Doesn't like to be addressed by any other names except his own, he would ignore you for a few days if you did...
As he got older, his temperament got milder but can still be nasty when he wants to be...
He gets stressed whenever his carrier basket is brought out and need to be assured as to where we are taking him... I think he has a fear that he would be abandoned...
I went away for a few years, his big sister Carnation passed while I was away... came back for a holiday in 2008 and he still remember me...
Came home for good this year, he was very 'manja' in the last year or so... not only with me, but with my mum and dad too... he was never that affectionate but he was more sooky in the last year... never liked to be carried much but we were carting him around quite a bit in the last year...
He was unwell for a month... nothing we did were able to get him recover... he left us to go to the rainbow bridge to join my babies who had gone before him on 24 March 2011...
Rest in peace Whiskie Loo... be happy with Carnation and Bluebear... till we meet again... Whiskie sayang...
